Chapter 12: Green Tea Boy (2)

While he was wildly imagining things, Li Xiaoyi and Zhou Zhihao had already entered the house. Zhou Zhihao was carrying several boxes of tonics.

Li Xiaoyi called out, “Mom, Zhou Zhihao heard that Weiyi wasn’t feeling well, so he came to visit.”

Mrs. Li was cooking in the kitchen and hadn’t heard the argument at the window. When Li Xiaoyi called her out of the kitchen, she quickly smiled and declined, “Oh, Xiao Zhou, no need, no need. You’re spending money again.”

Zhou Zhihao forcefully stuffed the money into her hand, smiling obsequiously, “Auntie, this little bit of money is nothing to me, it’s just my kind gesture. Weiyi is Xiaoyi’s sister, and I feel sorry for her too.”

Li Xiaoyi blushed and said, “Don’t talk nonsense.”

Mrs. Li smiled: “Xiao Zhou, please sit down. Xiaoyi, this is Ah Chan and Xiao Li. They are the ones who brought Weiyi back yesterday; Ah Chan saved Weiyi.”

Upon hearing this, Li Xiaoyi immediately came over and bowed solemnly to Li Weiyi: “Thank you, thank you so much!”

Li Weiyi asked a few questions about her sister’s current job, and it matched her memory. Her sister was only 22 years old. After graduating from vocational high school at 19, she worked in a factory for two years and was currently working at a shop owned by Zhou Zhihao’s family.

Li Xiaoyi bit her lip, remaining silent.

Li Weiyi continued, “Sister, I checked on Weiyi as soon as I came in today. Although she was still unconscious, she looked well, so don’t worry too much.”

Li Xiaoyi: “…Thank you.”

Zhou Zhihao: “…”

Li Yunmo pressed his hand to his face: Brother Chan… he’s such a green tea bitch.

But after Li Weiyi said that, a little while later, Zhou Zhihao said to Li Xiaoyi, “Come with me to see your sister?” Although Li Xiaoyi hadn’t yet agreed to be with him, her heart was already wavering. Hearing this, she nodded and said to Li Weiyi, “You two sit for a while,” and led Zhou Zhihao to the bedroom.

As soon as the two entered the bedroom, Zhou Zhihao gently closed the door.

Li Weiyi stared at the door, taking vicious bites of an apple.

Li Yunmo leaned forward, blocking her view, and said, “Brother Chan, tell me the truth, are you interested in the older sister or the younger sister? Damn, even I can’t figure it out.”

Li Weiyi rolled her eyes at him and said, “Mind your own business.”

Li Yunmo guessed, “The younger sister?”

Li Weiyi thought to herself, “I need an excuse to come here often,” so she nodded and said, “I’m interested. I’m still considering it.”

Seeing her finally admit it, Li Yunmo suddenly understood and breathed a sigh of relief. All of Brother Chan’s unusual behavior today made sense. But they’d only met twice; how much must he like her? Girls used to be the ones chasing after Brother Chan; he never pursued anyone.

“You actually fell in love at first sight,” Li Yunmo sighed.

Li Weiyi, still staring at the door, smiled. “Yes, she’s so adorable, the cutest girl I’ve ever seen.”

Li Yunmo: “If you really plan to pursue her, what about Cheng Ruiyan?”

Li Weiyi didn’t know who he was talking about. She figured it was time to go in and break them up, so she replied dismissively, “I need to think about it some more.” She got up and walked towards the bedroom.

From inside the half-open door came pushing and whispering sounds. Li Weiyi pushed it open and saw Zhou Zhihao hugging her sister’s waist, his head stretched out to kiss her, while her sister, pale-faced, dodged, probably too afraid to make a sound. As soon as the door opened, Zhou Zhihao released his sister and turned to stare at Li Weiyi. Li Xiaoyi quickly straightened her clothes and hair, her whole face flushed red.

Li Weiyi started again: “Hey, what are you doing in broad daylight? She hasn’t even agreed to be with you, and you’re already forcing her. You have no respect for her at all. If she agrees later, who knows what terrible things you’ll do to her. You said you were here to see her sister, but you’re just a hypocrite. You’re taking advantage of her while she’s unconscious. Do you have any humanity?”

These words were quite harsh. Zhou Zhihao rushed over and threw a punch at her. Li Weiyi quickly tried to pull away, but he shoved her with his brute force, sending her crashing into the wall. He didn’t even bother to stop her.

Li Weiyi looked at his furious face, a little scared. She took two steps back, struggling between taking the punch to expose his true colors and running away, when a cold voice rang out: “Do you know who he is? You dare hit him?”

It was Li Yunmo, who had sensed something was wrong and ran over.

Although Li Yunmo acted like a husky in front of Zhang Jingchan, outside, he was the arrogant and domineering Young Master Li. In his eyes, a scoundrel like Zhou Zhihao wasn’t even worthy of shining their shoes.

Zhou Zhihao’s mind cleared somewhat. Thinking of the multi-million dollar Ferrari parked outside, he coldly asked, “Who is he?”

Li Yunmo replied calmly, “His father is Zhang Moyun.”

Zhou Zhihao glanced at Li Weiyi again, lowered his fist, and said, “What, you think you can insult people just because you have money? If you keep talking nonsense, I’ll really beat you up.”
