The coat hanging on the door was actually Li Weihao’s, leaving Zhang Chao and Lin Yi’ang speechless for a moment. Neither of them spoke until Zhang Chao finally said, “Li Weihao’s parents packed up his clothes a few days ago. I checked carefully when I came back; everything that they didn’t take was disposed of by the cleaning lady. There’s no way a single piece of clothing would be left behind.”

Lin Yi’ang said, “Could it be that it was left behind during the packing and we didn’t notice it, leaving it hanging here all this time?”

Zhang Chao shook his head in denial. “Impossible. If this coat were still hanging there, I would have noticed it by now. Besides, it wasn’t there last night.”

Lin Yi’ang said, “You mean, someone deliberately hung it there?”

Zhang Chao nodded. “That’s the only possibility.”

Lin Yi’ang asked, “Was it hung up after you went to sleep, or was it there before you went to sleep?”

Zhang Chao racked his brains but couldn’t remember. After returning home, he simply washed up and only went to the toilet once to urinate. The toilet door was open against the wall at the time, and he hadn’t noticed it. As it was time to go to sleep, fearing the stench from the toilet, he casually pulled the door shut as usual, not noticing whether a piece of clothing was hanging there.

Besides, people tend to have habitual thinking; even though Li Weihao was gone, the habits of those around him wouldn’t change overnight. Furthermore, he hadn’t turned off the lights before going to sleep, and there was no shadow in the toilet, so he naturally wouldn’t pay much attention.

Lin Yi’ang clenched his fist and said, “I’m afraid some bastard deliberately messed with you.”

Zhang Chao nodded, remembering that some perverted man had tried to harass Bai Qiu, and anger surged within him again.

Lin Yi’ang said, “Why don’t you change dorm rooms?”

At this moment, Zhang Chao actually wanted to change dorm rooms too. After all, this dorm had caused so much trouble for several nights in a row, making it impossible to sleep peacefully.
